About Us
Who We Are
FFARMD Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit, nongovernmental entity to support efforts pertaining to the availability and distribution of locally produced agricultural products to Marylanders experiencing food insecurity in Maryland, including the Maryland Market Money (MMM) program.
Every dollar contributed works to help Marylanders experiencing food-insecurity access wholesome locally grown foods.
What We Do
The key activity of FFARMD is to support food access efforts, including the Maryland Market Money program, a statewide program managed by the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA).
Maryland Market Money (MMM) is a statewide food access program that feeds Marylanders and supports farmers. MMM removes economic barriers for Marylanders experiencing food insecurity, providing a dollar-for-dollar match for purchases made using federal nutrition benefits at participating Maryland farmers markets, farm stands, and CSAs while providing technical assistance, training, marketing, and additional services to stakeholders.
